1. Customs accreditation

• Technical data sheet: Document containing technical specifications (type, engine power, length, year of manufacture).
• Documents confirming ownership.
• Transport document (CMR/TIR): If the boat is transported on a trailer.
• Certificate of Conformity (CE): Many types of vessels require a certificate confirming compliance with European safety standards (CE marking).

3. Customs payments

The customs clearance amount usually includes:

• Duty: The percentage rate depends on the type of boat (usually 0-10%).
• VAT: 20% of the customs value (sum of the boat value + duty + transportation costs).

4. Certification and technical inspection

After customs clearance, the boat must be registered in Ukraine (for example, in the Shipping Register of Ukraine and the Shipping Administration of Ukraine), which often requires:
